Bandy Park is named after George C. Bandy, former Opelika City Councilman, former Lee County Commissioner and current State Representative. Bandy Park features a lighted multi-use field, a press box, newly renovated basketball courts, a playground, a paved walking track, newly-renovated restrooms, a large covered pavilion and picnic tables.
