What do you think about connecting various destinations in Opelika via shared use paths (aka paths fit for biking, walking, running, pushing a stroller/wheelchair, etc.) and additional bike lanes? What if some of these paths ran alongside our beautiful creeks? We think this would drastically improve the quality of life in Opelika, increase property values, and strengthen recreational tourism in our area, which in turn would boost our economy.
We have been developing this idea and speaking with knowledgeable individuals about making it happen. Please share your thoughts!
