ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY BOOKS-A-MILLION SUSPECT

3.7 Attempt to ID

The Opelika Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, which occurred at Books-A-Million, located at 2243 Tiger Town Parkway. On 12/24/2022 at approximately 11:17 a.m., the suspect, a black male, is seen on surveillance video attempting to purchase merchandise with a fake $100 bill. The suspect appears to be wearing black pants with a white stripe and a dark letterman style jacket with white sleeves and an “S” on the front and a large logo on the back.
