Upon arrival, officers contacted 34-year-old Jeffrey Sullivan from Tallassee, AL, trying to leave the business. Officers then located a cut in the fence at the rear of the business and recovered electronic power tools, gloves, bolt cutters, and two damaged catalytic converters, which had been stolen. Sullivan was arrested for Theft of Property, Second Degree, and Possession of Burglary Tools. If you have any information on this case, please contact the Opelika Police Department at (334) 705-5200 or the Secret Witness Hotline at (334) 745-8665.
