Hanwha Cimarron, LLC is breaking ground today for a new manufacturing facility located in the Northeast Opelika Industrial Park. The capital investment is estimated to be $130 million and create 261 new jobs.
“I am thrilled to see Hanwha Cimarron bring this exciting new venture to Alabama and create good-paying jobs for the hard-working citizens of Opelika,” said Governor Kay Ivey. “Our partnership with Hanwha Cimarron starts symbolically today with a groundbreaking ceremony, but I know that this relationship will grow and thrive in the future as the company puts down roots in Sweet Home Alabama.”
Hanwha Cimarron is currently partnering with AIDT to hire leadership positions. General hiring will commence in early Spring 2022. The company will be looking for employees with a strong background in production/manufacturing and demonstrated experience in machine operation. Applicants should also have a consistent employment history and an excellent attendance record.
