In the early hours of 06/24/2021 the Opelika Police Department responded to 2000 Pepperell Parkway, East Alabama Medical Center, in regards to an assault. Officers located the suspect, Steve John Collins, 54 yoa from Opelika, AL, nearby. Collins was arrested for Assault, Second Degree, and booked into the Lee County Jail.
