Beginning this week, EAMC will be administering COVID-19 vaccines to those who are 75 years and older AND are residents of Chambers, Lee or Macon counties. EAMC is asking that you please use the following link to register for a COVID-19 vaccine appointment: https://apps.eamc.org/Secure/VaccineRegistration
If you are over 75 years old and do not have access to a computer/internet, we suggest you ask a relative or friend to register you using the online form. After you fill out the form, you will be contacted by phone with your vaccination appointment date, time and location. You should expect a call from a number starting with 334-528-.
In addition, EAMC is being inundated with phone calls. We are asking people not to call EAMC about the vaccine; the appointment link has all the information you need and is simple to fill out.
“We are extremely grateful to EAMC for organizing our local vaccine distribution. The distribution is complex and a work in progress. The doctors and nurses have worked endless hours and are exhausted. They still need our help as we navigate through the coming months. Please continue to do your part and wear your masks, wash your hands and maintain social distancing,” said Mayor Gary Fuller.”
The hospital also requests that you should still call 334-528-SICK as soon as you recognize you have COVID symptoms so they can get you scheduled for testing.
