LEE COUNTY EMA WEATHER UPDATE:
We are continuing to see rainfall being the primary issue with Sally as she makes her way across the state. Rainfall for our county will be between 6in to 8in with some areas seeing closer to 10in or more. Attached are current graphics as of the 10am update. The severe weather chances have shifted more to this afternoon and evening. (Noon until 11pm for chances of brief tornados and thunderstorms with the outer bands of the system)
Our office is activated and monitoring the situation as it unfolds for our county around the clock until it passes. Specifically for our Volunteer departments if you need additional man power to clear roads please let our office know. Our team members and other public works departments can assist as needed. If you have reports of damage either to roads, bridges, or structures please relay that to our office. Additionally, attached is the updated EMA resource packet for those who were unable to attend the meeting this morning. These resources are always available, please contact our office if you need any of these resources.
