Ward 1 Kite Day

Ward 1 Community Action is hosting a Kite Day event on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The event will be at Covington Park from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kite Day is open to the public and free of charge. Attendees will enjoy, food, games, prizes and much more! A limited number of kites will be provided, and kids are encouraged to bring their own handmade kite for a chance to win a prize. The event is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated Mu Sigma Omega Chapter, Frazelema Lynn (The Parenting 911 Coach), Carpenter Church Reverend Daniel, Opelika Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Opelika Police Department, Opelika Fire Department, One Accord Social Club, and Gentlemen with a Purpose.
