I was honored to present the Citizen of Character award posthumously to Mrs. Selena Daniels. Mrs. Daniels was instrumental in the creation of Envision Opelika. She helped many people in Opelika Ward 2 to transition from public/affordable housing to home owners. She also provided high quality standards for rental property. Mrs. Daniels embodied kindness which is also our character word for the month of September.
