From 4th Avenue going north on 10th Street to Bonita Avenue and Renfro Avenue, the city has completed the installation of all-new sidewalks and driveways along that stretch. Most of the west side of 10th Street has also received new sod, as well. We currently lack sod installation on the east side of 10th Street just past 7th Avenue to Renfro Avenue. Replacing sod for the east side will begin once we are completed at Saint Mary's Church.
At Saint Mary's Church, all sidewalk construction will be completed at the corner of 4th Avenue and 10th Street all the way to 11th Street by tomorrow afternoon. We will finally see the completed product at the intersection of the church as new sod is scheduled for that corner to begin this Thursday into early next week.
Once Saint Mary's Church is complete with sod, we will move back to the east side of 10th Street in order to complete that run of sod as well. In approximately two weeks from the completion at the church, we will turn our focus back to completing the sidewalk construction on the remainder of 10th Street between 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue. A portion of that block has already been completed but portions of the block remain to be done. We estimate the time to complete that block will be four to six weeks from the start date.
