Adam Pierce was born in January of 1977 and raised here in Opelika. He and his wife Kathi have been married for almost 26 years and have raised three successful kids; Hannah (25), Maddie (22), and Zach (19).

Adam started his employment in October of 2017 in the warehouse, and quickly moved into the area of metering. Since moving to the metering department, he’s helped complete the transition to our Smart Grid system allowing us to quickly and efficiently recognize outages and repair damage to help keep the lights on.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, friends, and his church. He’s very active in the music program at Providence Baptist Church. One of his other passions is spending time around the grill. Cooking for friends and family has been a passion for quite a while. “Getting to share food that I’ve cooked and having folks enjoy it brings a smile to my face. Food is a love language for me. I love getting to prepare food together with my wife to share for many occasions. She has a talent for baking and I have a love for preparing grilled and smoked meats, so it works out well!”
