Kenton Lee is from Lafayette, Al. He graduated from Chambers Academy in 1989. After high school Kenton went to work with his uncles’ building houses and doing general construction work. During that time, he attended night classes at SUSCC, completing his technical degree in industrial electricity.
Kenton went to work for Opelika Light & Power in 1995 as an apprentice lineman. He’s had many great career opportunities with OPS. Kenton has worked at OPS for almost 27 years now. During this time, Kenton has seen the City of Opelika grow and develop so much.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his 3 children, hunting and fishing. He also enjoys working on the farm with his father, working in his vegetable garden, and watching sport events.
