About Summer Swing
The Opelika Band Boosters will prepare hamburgers and hotdogs for a nominal fee from 6:15-7:30 p.m., ideal for a family picnic. Center State Bank of Opelika will provide complimentary lemonade during the concerts.
The Rocky Brook Rocket, a vintage train with long, rich history gives complimentary rides from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
Come out early! Bring the whole family, a quilt or lawn chair and relax on the bank of Rocky Brook Creek for an evening of musical fun, fellowship and relaxation.

May 5: OHS Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Jazz Band- CANCELED
This evening’s concert will begin early at 6:30 p.m.
The Opelika High School Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band and Jazz Band will play a wide variety of music ranging from Jazz to Rock to Movie Soundtracks.

May 19: East Alabama Community Band- CANCELED
The East Alabama Community Band, now in its 8th year and led by Josh Wine, will be playing a variety of marches and show tunes.
May 26: Crossroads- CANCELED
Crossroads is a five-piece variety band that covers many country and classic rock hits. The band performs selections from artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, REM and The Eagles, as well as Carrie Underwood, Sugarland and Martina McBride. June 2: Kidd Blue
Even with the resurgence of the classic soul sound in modern music, Kidd Blue continues to bring their "New Old Soul" to packed dance floors throughout the Southeast. For over 34 years this horn-driven band has been delivering their eclectic mix of Soul, R&B, Motown and Rock Classics in the styles of Marvin Gaye, Sam & Dave, Al Green, Van Morrison and many others. June 9: Martha’s Trouble
Jen & Rob Slocumb met 25 years ago with a twist of fate inside a Houston, Texas, coffee shop where Jen worked booking bands. What started as a simple bond over music grew into much more and began a life on the road. Two children, a house in Auburn and a dog later, they’re still living their musical dream. While building their family, they have continued to write and play music, producing about a dozen albums and touring around the country and the world. And their work has not gone unnoticed. Some of the most influential and well-respected music critics have paid tribute to the duo. They have been listed and featured in Billboard Magazine, USA Today, AOL Music, XM Satellite Radio and Performing Songwriter. This energetic group plays it all… Oldies, Pop, Rock and Dance music. Audience participation in encouraged. Join the “Monkey Park dancers” on the grass around the stage as they dance, blow bubbles and have a great time!
June 30: Fedoras
This acoustic duo plays folk, pop, and bluegrass tunes the whole family will enjoy.
July 7: Bill J. Brooks – ELVIS Lives Concert

July 21: James Brown Trio
The James Brown Trio is a Southern Gospel group that will have your toes tapping and heart stirring to songs from the past as well as current tunes that are soon to be classics. This trio consists of Charles Story from Valley, AL as well as Adam & Teel Traylor from Auburn, AL. The namesake (James Brown) started the group over 17 years ago with Charles and Adam and since his death in 2013 Teel has joined forces to continue the tradition of good ole Southern Gospel music with an eternal impact. You’ll not want to miss this group’s harmonious sounds beneath a beautiful summer night sky.
