Choose to Lose Challenge

Choose to Lose will feature two 6-person teams competing for the champion title.

Each participant will complete a fitness assessment at the beginning and end of the challenge to track their progress. The assessments will include a body composition analysis, a grip test and a squat test. Each team will be assigned a personal trainer to guide and motivate them throughout the competition.

The competition will last 6 weeks. Each week the two teams will meet with their trainers and attend a group fitness class. A registered dietitian will meet with each team member at the beginning of the challenge and will check up with them halfway through the competition to see how they are doing and offer encouragement.

March 5 at 1 p.m. Team and Trainer Reveal and Assessments

Week 1 (March 9-15)

  • Meet with your team and Dietician
  • Zumba Gold—Friday 9:20 a.m. with Karen (Both Teams)

Week 2 (March 16-22)

  • Blue Team Training Session—Monday at 11:30 a.m. (Group Fitness Room)
  • Red Team Training Session—Monday at 12:15 p.m. (Group Fitness Room)
  • Healthy Backs—Wednesday at 10:25 am. Both Teams (AAC)

Week 3 (March 23-29)

  • Blue Team Training Session—Monday at 11:30 a.m. (Group Fitness Room)
  • Red Team Training Session—Monday at 12:15 p.m. (Group Fitness Room)
  • Silver Sneakers Classic—Wednesday at 1 p.m. with David Both Teams (AAC)
  • Scheduled meeting with Dietician (Both Teams)

Week 4 (March 30-April 5)

  • Blue Team Training Session—Monday at 11:30 a.m. (Group Fitness Room)
  • Red Team Training Session—Monday at 12:15 p.m. (Group Fitness Room)
  • Balance and Stretch—Thursday at 11:30 a.m. with Eric (Group Fitness Room)

Week 5 (April 13-19)
