Opelika Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association

The purpose of the Opelika Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is to offer support to the Opelika Police Department in their endeavor to serve and protect the community. This support includes volunteer work in areas approved by the chief of police and various fundraising activities to assist the department and its employees. The Association will also promote the Opelika Citizens Police Academy through leadership, advocacy and service to assist the department in communicating the instruction, training, information and guidance provided by the academy.

Graduates of the academy may join the Association below.  Anyone who would like to support the organization financially may donate online or mail a check payable to The Opelika Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association to PO Box 2141, Opelika, Alabama 36803. The Opelika Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Opelika Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is hosting Chief Healey's Western Roundup on Friday, November 10th at Southern Union State Community College. The purpose of this year’s event is to raise awareness and funds to support the Opelika Police Department's efforts to combat the challenges of homelessness in our community. Sponsorships and individual tickets are now available. 

Individual Tickets are $25: please contact Allison via email to connect you with a OCPAAA member. 

Sponsorship levels are as follows: 

Platinum Sponsor ($1000)- 8 seats, table/event recognition, name listed on website, and advertisement including all social media outlets/newspaper ad. 

Silver Sponsor ($500)- 4 seats, table recognition, name listed on website, and advertisement including all social media outlets/newspaper add.
