Our Mission

The mission of the Lewis Cooper, Jr. Memorial Library is to provide free programs, activities, information, and technological access to the citizens of Opelika. These services include, but are not limited to, educational searches, leisure reading, computer access and classes, and various programs meeting the needs of our diverse community.

  • May 28: Memorial Day
  • July 4: Independence Day
  • September 3: Labor Day
  • November 22 - 23: Thanksgiving
  • December 24 - 25: Christmas
