Rosemere Historic Sign
Evergreen Angel

The City of Opelika has three cemeteries it oversees and maintains:

  • Rosemere (which was added to the Alabama Historic Cemetery Registry in 2011)
  • Evergreen
  • Garden Hills

Because we know that for most people these places are “sacred ground,” our crews work very hard at maintaining these areas as “garden settings” where loved ones can come and reflect on the lives of those who have passed away.

Veterans Flags

If you have a Veteran buried in one of the three City Cemeteries and they are not receiving a flag call 334-705-5400 or 705-5445.
