We know it's not always easy to report crime. Some folks are afraid to give their names for fear of retribution; others just don't want their names given for other reasons. Whatever your reasons, the Opelika Police Department wants you to know that you can help us keep Opelika safe while remaining anonymous!
So please, If you have witnessed a crime, or have information on someone who has committed a crime, you can notify the Opelika Police Department with the information you know and no one will ever know your name! It's easy, it doesn't take much time, and it's the right thing to do! Help us help you make our neighborhoods and streets safer for everyone!
Just call the secret witness hotline at 334-745-8665. The number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and all calls are confidential!
Opelika Police Department App
The Opelika, Alabama Police Department mobile application is an interactive app which will help improve our communication with the citizens of Opelika and surrounding areas. The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens information which will include, but not be limited to News Releases, Staff Directory, Most Wanted, Agency Programs, Resources and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the Opelika Police Department will be able to better protect our county. This app is not meant to be used to report emergency situations.
